A Few Words on the Logo

As you may have noticed, I finally have a logo for this blog. I am quite happy with it think it’s the best logo I’ve made yet.

I’ve had the concept in my mind for a while, and was inspired by the logos of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and the Bank of China which I liked a lot.

The basic shape is of an ancient Chinese coin, and upon further inspection one can find my initials on it. There is a opening on the top, but none at the bottom. With this, I hope my life will be filled with good things, that none of the good will drain away. The logo was made entirely in Photoshop.

    Great design and thought behind it. That’s what makes a great logo. When there’s a meaningful symbolism behind it as well as the aesthetic looks of it. Great work on it.
