I am an individual who believes firmly in freedom. This goes beyond overused terms like “freedom of speech”. I want true freedom, the ability to do what the hell ever I please. To do so, I acknowledge that one ultimately will need money, and to a lesser extent, [social] intelligence.
Who am I? I’m a guy of true cosmopolitan nature. Born in Beijing, I spent my childhood years in New York, and have recently finished high school in Stockholm. The future has no boundaries set for me. I hope the World is ready.
I’m currently on my biggest adventure to date. I’m on a year off to traveling and settling down somewhere in China independently before continuing to college. I survive using only money earned on the internet. Why China? China is the worlds fastest growing economy, the land of golden opportunity. In the future, this would be the perfect place for me to strive for my goal, and a year in China will grant me invaluable insight to how things work - over there. This blog, titled Who the hell is Carl Pei? reflects my hope that one day others will be able to answer that question for me. Until then, I’ll document my progress in achieving my goal of ultimate freedom.
