March Earnings Report
March was the first month I started keeping track of my earnings, so I can’t really compare to previous months, but it feels like I earned more.
Below is how much I earned on the internet during March 2007.
Private Ad Sales: $304.00
AdSense: $122.98
Chitika: $34.05
Services: $5.00
Total: $466.03
Private Ad Sales: As I run forums with low CTR but high traffic, private advertising has gotten me the most. It also removes the need of a middleman taking a cut of your profits. If you can, I always recommend you to go private advertising. Both you and the advertiser wins!
AdSense: During February month I finally hit the $100 mark after around 7 months. I know, it’s BAD. On a brighter note, March AdSense earnings were pretty nice so I’ll get another check in April. In a sense, I am now earning 7x more on AdSense.
Chitika: During the last days of February I implemented Chitika and quickly earned $34.05. In March, the CTR and CPC has fallen, but I am working on a site with a broader niche to earn from Chitika. They have a low payout threshold of $10 via PayPal, so I’ll can expect a payment from them each month.
If you havent already, I recommend you to sign up for Chitika!
Services: Well, it’s so little I don’t see a need to talk about it. Yet. I’ll earn more from services this month.
Other
- Auction Ads: I’ve sent them more than 100 clicks and have earned a whopping $0. You have to remember that they pay differently, and that they can only aggregate your earnings after they receive their reports from Commission Junction. I will use them for another month (April) and see how well they perform.
- Adversal: I’ve earned $4.0 by inserting pop-ups on my proxies. Not a lot, but it didn’t require a lot time either. Too bad the minimum payout is $20, I can’t really count it into March earnings.
