Umbrella Magic – HOW?

Here’s a video of an awesome umbrella video trick.

For me, the only way that could be possible was if he edited the video. Do you guys have any ideas?

    Not sure how that’s done. I’ve seen another video of the same person, doing a magic trick with an iphone – they’re pretty good. Without editing, I don’t know how he would’ve done it.

    I know how it’s done.
    When the umbrella goes off the screen for the 2nd time, he’s handed a smaller umbrella and uses the camera’s perspective to make it look big for 1 second and pulls it back.

    So is he lying about there being no editing? No. It is set up, though :)

    We all know it’s not “Real”, we’re just not entirely sure how it’s done. It looks like a set-up to me; why does she have an umbrella? From what I can see, it’s a nice sunny day.

    Mission objective achieved though. We all watched it and discussed it. It’s pretty amazing how you can create a simple video and it spreads so quick!

    I agree though with the switch! Can’t fool us :twisted:

    Wonderfully executed! Yeah its just a simple switch notice how you never see the floor when he gives back the tiny umbrella because that’s where the large one has been dropped. Very nice effect and original!

    wow this is definently fake…You can tell how it was handed to him as he held it up to the camera for awhile.
